Summoning UFOs (a Lavid Dangley story)

My friend, the thinly disguised Lavid Dangley, has spoken about UFOs for as long as I’ve known him. Fifteen years-ish.

Last year he and his girlfriend and his girlfriend’s father were driving to dinner when they spied three orbs in the sky, moving unnaturally. They stopped and pulled over and watched the orbs fly toward them.

Perhaps 1,000 feet away in the sky they stopped and hovered, at one point sliding into an upside down triangle position. Then one by one they shot off, inexplicably fast and silent.

In his words:

Traci saw them first. She was in the back seat and they were maybe 2-3 miles away, 15 to 20 degrees above the horizon. I pulled over and we got out of the car.

They were three bright lights. At first I thought it was a Christmas stunt because it was Christmas Eve. They were like electrical balls of energy they were so bright. I can’t describe it. They were vibrating electrifying light.

Your mind goes blank, you can’t register a meaning to it because it’s so far out of the range of normal.

It was like they came to us. They stopped at no more than 1,000 feet away. They were 20 feet across I’m guessing. You couldn’t even blink they were burning so intensely bright. When they finally stopped that close you felt they were there for us.

They slid into a perfect triangle, two on top and one on the bottom. They were dead silent. They held that position for half a minute and then took off at impossible speeds. One by one.

Your mind is going “How can they zoom off into infinity in less than thirty seconds?”

As soon as one was gone another took off. And when that was gone, the last one took off. Right through a cloud about two miles away and out the other side.

He looked around incredulous that no one else was pulling over to witness the spectacle. Traffic kept wooshing by.

My friend has researched UFOs and their possible meanings the way some people study the entrails of goats.

So how appropriate is it that he finally summoned some UFOs into his experience. And that two eye-witnesses were there for corroboration.

It was a confirmation of everything I’ve believed about this universe. It was so undeniable  it can’t be anything else. You know what it wasn’t, but you don’t know what it was. It wasn’t anything we know.

To me it was spiritual. What more of a gift could you have? Than to be shown how fantastic this universe really is.
